PeterStar to Expand Communications System of Murmansk Govt
OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2009. The Murmansk affiliate of ZAO PeterStar, a leader of the market of telecommunication services in the Northwest Region, being part of the Synterra Group of Companies, announces its victory in the competition in the provision of services on expanding the system of uniform communications of the executive public authorities of the Murmansk Region, reported the press-centre of PeterStar.
Pursuant to the conditions of a government contractual work the carrier connects new work places (increased 50%) to the existing interdepartmental communication system, as well as performing work on delivering, connecting and adjusting the relevant equipment.
In particular PeterStar will deliver and install switches to expand the system, as well as a reserve internetwork screen to improve the network’s security.
The system of uniform communications of the executive public authorities of the Murmansk Region represents a single infocommunication medium to transmit and exchange data, as well as voice and video information.
Work under the contract will be carried out by ZAO PeterStar’s Murmansk affiliate established in 2006. During its operation on the corporate and mass market of communication services in Murmansk PeterStar completely upgraded its own wireless data network, installed over 100 km of FOCL’s, launched a zonal communication node and implemented a number of major projects on equipment delivery and communication network modernization for enterprises of any form of organization and state institutions.
