OREANDA-NEWS. December 04, 2009. According to the preliminary information, over 9 months of 2009 total premium collected by Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Volga Federal District of Russia amounted to RUB 2.2 bln.

Total insurance premium for voluntary insurance other than life was RUB 1.77 bln, including for personal insurance – RUB 223 mln, for property insurance – RUB 1.48 bln, for liability insurance – RUB 70 mln. The insurance premium collected for compulsory motor TPL insurance totaled  RUB 428 mln.

Payments made by Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Volga Federal District for direct insurance over 9 months of 2009 totaled RUB 1.58 bln, including for personal insurance – RUB 210 mln, for property insurance – RUB 1 026 mln, for voluntary liability insurance – RUB 13 mln. Payments for compulsory motor TPL insurance totaled RUB 331 mln.

In 9 months of 2009 compulsory motor TPL insurance has been the most dynamically developing business area in the branches of Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Volga Federal District.

The leader in terms of the amount of premium collected by Ingosstrakh is Nizhny Novgorod region – RUB 559 mln, premium collected in Samara region totaled RUB 456 mln., in Tatarstan – RUB 238 mln.  Payments in these regions totaled RUB 412 mln, 327 mln and 151 mln correspondingly.
