“A Fair by the Quay in Archangel” is one of 10 paintings by the painter that were exhibited in the “Far North” pavilion during the All-Russia Industrial and Art Exhibition held in
LUKOIL has maintained a longstanding partnership with the State Tretyakov Gallery. For instance, the company acquired a bas-relief of Mikhail Kozlovsky, a famous Russian painter and sculptor, and recently presented it to the gallery on the occasion of its 150th anniversary. In addition, LUKOIL provided funding for the restoration of the painting “The Portrait of General Vasily Perovsky” by Karl Brullov and the painting “The Sanhedrin Trial: He is Guilty!” by Nikolai Ge.
