OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2009. The Securities and Stock Market State Commission made the decision to register a report on the results of initial public offering of Oranta’s shares and to issue the company a registration certificate on issuing 132,500,000 of nominal shares (with the nominal value of UAH 5.85 each) to the amount of UAH 775,125,000.

According to the report, the early termination date of share placement is October 13, 2009. The total nominal value of all placed shares amounts to UAH 600,093,000, which is 100 % of the planned volume.

Thus, the share issue of unprecedented scale was approved; it increased Oranta's charter capital by almost four times. It should be mentioned that the share issue would be considered unprecedented not only during the crisis but also when the economy is developing or actively growing. Today Oranta's charter capital totals UAH 775,125, 000 and is considered to be the biggest one among all Ukrainian insurance companies.
