OREANDA-NEWS. December 3, 2009. An Italian entertainment and leisure center will be built in Gomel in 2010.

The center will take the premises of a former restaurant. It will include a restaurant, a cafe serving Italian cuisine, gambling halls, parking space and other facilities. Italian investors are set to invest more than €2 million in the project. Designing and renovation of the building is underway.

According to Natalya Gevraseva, a number of investment projects with the use of Italian capita (an Italian pizzeria, ice cream cafe, brand clothes store) l have been carried out in Gomel. The sides implement joint projects in public catering, trade and services. In January-October 2009 Belarus imported USD 25 million worth of goods mainly equipment and component parts for industrial companies.
