OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2009. TATNEFT Company became a winner of the 11th All-Russia competition "Best Annual Report" in three categories at once according to the results announced in Moscow, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

During the ten years period of its existence the competition brought together 327 participants from eleven countries representing all sectors of the economy. This competition is arranged every year by "Expert RA", the leading rating agency. The main objective of the competition is attracting attention of the business community to the creation and promotion of annual reports as an effective tool to improve the investment attractiveness of Russian companies and the growth of their market value.

OAO TATNEFT presented two reports for the contest: an Annual (Financial) Report (in English and Russian) and a Report on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility. As a result of the competition among leading oil companies of Russia the authoritative jury awarded TATNEFT Company in three nominations: Best Annual Report on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility, Best Level of Information Disclosure about the Corporate Management Practices, Design and Printing.

The victory of OAO TATNEFT is not the first one in this prestigious competition. The annual and social reports of the Company have been repeatedly recognized to be the best. An advance in three nominations at once is another explicit recognition of the high level of the social and environmental responsibility of the Company, as well as the level of corporate management and transparency to shareholders and the public.
