OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2009. According to the ten months of 2009 results passenger traffic of Pulkovo Airport had a total enrolment of 5 730 512 people, which is 7,6 % less than the activities of the ten months of 2008, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to the foreign countries for the ten months in 2009 had a total enrolment of 2 567 260 people, which is 10,9 % less than the number of passengers, carried during the ten months in 2008.

Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 2 698 270 people, which is 4,9 % less than during the ten months in 2008.

Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS decreased by 3,5 % and had a total enrolment of 464 982 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations decreased by 9,2 % during the ten months in 2009 and had a total enrolment of 73 672 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) is 2 589 904 tons, the decrease is 11 % as compared with the same period in 2008.

Results of October 2009

According to October results passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 589 405 people, which is 6,3 % more than it was in October 2008, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to foreign countries in October 2009 had a total enrolment of 238 341 people, which is 4,3 % less than the number of passengers carried in October 2008.

Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 302 929 people, which is 18,7 % more than in October 2008.

Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS decreased by 3,9 % and had a total enrolment of 48 135 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations decreased by 2,3 % in October 2009 and had a total enrolment of 7 574 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) is 266 377 tons, the decrease is 0,3 % as compared with the same period in 2008.
