OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2009. The Russian Bank for Development under support of the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation held a working meeting with the heads of the municipal formations. The main issue of the discussion was RBD’s Program “Efficient MHE Complex”, reported the press-centre of RBD.  

Peter Tarasov, Director of Investment Operations of RBD told the participants of the meeting about the banking product “Efficient MHE Complex” and RBD’s approaches to its implementation. “The priority objective is to attract local SMEs to projects implemented using RBD’s funds, as well as to attract loans borrowed by municipal governments”, he noted.

The representatives from the municipal governments from their part told about their practices of interaction with RBD under the pilot project “Efficient MHE Complex” in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskyi.

In their turn the representative from the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia underlined key principles of reforming of MHE determined by the Ministry in the targeted program for reformation and modernization of the municipal housing economy for the period of 2010 - 2020. It was emphasized that the Program’s objectives require standard financing structures that are being developed now by the Ministry of Regional Development jointly with RBD.

The meeting was attended by the representatives from administrations of Kursk, Voronezh, Tambov, the Tambov Oblast and the Archangelsk Oblast.

The result of the meeting was the decision on cooperation in the course of preparedness to finance MHE projects in the regions.
