OREANDA-NEWS. December 1, 2009. FINCA Azerbaijan, one of the largest microfinance organizations in Azerbaijan, has summed up results of its activity for Jan-Oct 2009.

As of 1st November 2009, Organization’s loan portfolio exceeded USD 63 million.

“Our overall portfolio for the reported term of the year made USD 63.397 million. Of them, USD 36.18 million fell on the share of loan-borrower groups and USD 27.215 million on individual loan recipients,” FINCA said.

At the same time in this October alone loans for USD 11.336 million were extended, including USD 6.909 million for loan-borrower groups and USD 4.426 million for individual clients,” FINCA reported.

The client base totaled 84,925 people by 1st November 2009.

Following 2008 FINCA portfolio totaled USD 67 million.

Today FINCA has the largest branch network among Azerbaijan non-bank credit institutions consisting of 24 branches and 30 sub-branches in 55 Azerbaijani cities and regions.
