OREANDA-NEWS. December 01, 2009. At difficult times for the country as well as for the banking system, card business continued its development at the beginning of 2009 and increased its customer and funding bases. First and foremost, this result was achieved due to the Bank’s attitude to clients and stable functioning of both the terminal and ATM network, reported the press-centre of Kyivska Rus.

Cash withdrawal has never been limited by the Bank and there is always money in ATMs, which function without any errors. Both our Clients and Clients of other banks could more than once make sure of that.

With general decrease in the number of active cards in the banking system, nearly by 24% according to the NBU, the general number of the Bank’s active cards has increased by 20% (15,000) for the last 10 months. There are, in general, 90,000 of cards within the Bank.

The Bank has installed new 8 ATMs at the beginning of the year. At the moment there are 82 ATMs within the Bank’s system, which form a part of UkrCard Payment System. There are more than 1,700 of ATMs where Clients can withdraw cash without commission.

Nearly 106 enterprises entrusted us with the wages payment to card accounts of employees. There are, in general, 587 enterprises at the moment.

More than 16,000 of pensioners are serviced in the bank and their number has tripled for 10 months 2009.

Increase in the number of clients caused the rise of the card accounts balance by UAH 20 mln. with the current amount -  UAH 100 mln.
