OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2009. Russian Vice Premier Sergey Sobianin highly evaluated the results of the 4th Combined Integovernmental Commission on Cooperation between Russia and Thailand which took place in Bangkok.

Sobianin: "We are interested to enhance our cooperation with Thailand in space and telecommunication technologies".

Russian party offeres Thailand to collaborate in the framework of the GLONASS program, i.e. to use the system capabilities in automobile and marine navigation.

Sobianin believes that the Commission shall hold the meetings no less than once a year. The Thai party also notes essential progress in Russian-Thai relationship.
