OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2009. ROSNO’s Novorossiysk agency has won the open tender for provision of insurance services, held by OJSC Yuggazservice, the major power supplier in Novorossiysk. Following the results of the tender, ROSNO has concluded three insurance contracts for the total insurance amount of 100.4 million roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Under the first contract, the insurance protection for the amount of 70 million roubles has covered the Novorossiysk-based network of above-ground gas pipelines with total length of over 700 km. The gas pipelines have been insured against the following risks: fire, lightning stroke, explosion, aircraft impact, storm and hail, other natural disasters, flood, earthquake, soil subsidence, mudslide, landslide, damage by water from water supply, heating, sewage and similar systems; burglary, robbery, brigandage, and deliberate third-party actions aimed at damaging the insured property.

Another contract, for 4 million roubles, has been concluded under the hazardous industrial objects insurance program. In this case, insurance protection covers gas supply mains and one transport section in a suburb of Novorossiysk.

Also, ROSNO has provided insurance coverage of motor third party liability of drivers of 66 vehicles comprising the gas supplier’s motor fleet, for 26,400,000 roubles in total.

The contracts have been concluded for one year.

Along with OJSC IC ROSNO, two more insurers had participated in the tender.
