OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2009. Jan Dunning has a wide experience in retail: the latest place of employment is the Ukraine unit of Metro Group. He came there in April 2009 after 6 years work in “Metro Cash and Carry Russia” in a position of Sales Director (in this period the amount of Metro stores increased from 4 to 48).

Before this Jan Dunning was the head of a wholesale company Lukas Klamer Netherlands, and had worked 10 years in a German discount supermarket chain Aldi. His employment sheet contains of such positions as purchasing director, sales director, operational director, development director, financial director, marketing director and chief executive officer. So he had already been in all key positions in major retail corporate.

Besides he was a marketing professor in Amsterdam University. He took a course of marketing in one of the leading business school in the world (INSEAD, Paris) and successfully followed the Advanced Development Program on the London Business School in 2007. In University of Groninghen he studied modern history.
