OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2009. Pursuant to order of VolgaTelecom’s General Director Valery Shchukin has been appointed the Company’s Deputy General Director – Director for security and secrecy order. The appointment has been agreed upon by VolgaTelecom’s Board of directors.

Valery A. Shchukin was born in 1950. In 1972 he graduated from Perm Agricultural Institute. From 1973 till 1983 he worked in Komsomol departments. From 1983 till 1996 he served in state security bodies. From 1996 till 2004 he was Deputy Governor of Perm oblast. From 2005 till 2009 he was the head of the department of corporate security of LLC Lukoil-Perm for Perm region.

Valery Shchukin has taken the office of the Company’s Deputy General Director – Director for security and secrecy order since November 05, 2009, having replaced Vladimir Ulyanov who left the post of his own free will.
