OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2009. Kazakhstan's Defense Ministry plans to organize the first republican exhibition titled “Domestic producers and supply the armed forces” in mid-February 2010 in Astana.

 “The organization of the exhibition was discussed on Thursday in Astana at the meeting of Ministry’s leaders with Kazakh producers,” the press service of Defense Ministry informed.

 “The exhibition will demonstrate the capabilities of domestic producers, which will promote the goods, works and services to the power structures,” the head of armed forces of Kazakhstan Colonel Talgat Zhanzhumenov said.

It is planned the exhibition will last three days. It is expected Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Nursultan Nazarbayev will attend the opening.

The work of the exhibition will be organized in the following sections: “Food supply”, “Fitting out, equipment and footwear”, “Oil products”, “Medicine and Veterinary”, etc.

A competition for the best domestic product for the armed forces of Kazakhstan will be as part of the exhibition.
