OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2009. Laying of the first serial frigate of the project 22350 for the Navy of Russia took place on November 26, 2009 at the shipyard “Severnaya Verf”.

Order of the RF Navy Commander-in-Chief gave to the ship the name "Admiral Kasatonov".
Head-order of theseries "Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov" was laid on the stocks of "Severnaya Verf" in 2006. To date, the frigate is being built.
22350 frigate is designed for the fighting in the far and near sea areas, as well as to participate in solving tasks in the ocean zone.
