National Rating Agency Assigned SB Bank "AA-" Rating
OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2009. National Rating Agency has assigned SB Bank its individual "AA-" rating of reliability (very high reliability), reported the press-centre of SB Bank.
The rationale underlying such a high credit opinion is the Bank’s sustainable financial performance and high business activity.
As part of the analysis the NRA experts highlighted the Bank’s sizable equity and well-balanced credit policy (as of 01.11.2009 equity amounted to RUR 5.2bn). Among other factors contributing to the highly positive credit rating evaluation are the low level of non-performing loans and insignificant volumes of retail lending.
Another factor adding to the Bank’s success is the high level of its IT infrastructure enabling the institution to provide its customers with diversified product range and to manage risks effectively. Special emphasis in the credit opinion was laid on the Bank’s good reputation among the local financial market players and its solid potential for future development.
