Belarusbank Opens 100th BLIZKO System Service Point
OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2009. ASB Belarusbank OJSC opened its one-hundredths services point in the BLIZKO urgent money transfer system developed and owned by Sviaz-Bank OJSC, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.
“In the four months since Belarusbank was first wired to the BLIZKO money transfer system, it has opened 100 customer service points,” said Andrei Laikov, Sviaz-Bank’s Executive Director. “Our joint plans are aimed at continuing efficient and dynamic development of the money transfer network on the basis of Belarusbank.”
Today, the BLIZKO system covers the territories of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova (including Transnistria), Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Latvia.
Commission fees vary from 1.3% to 2% depending on the transfer amount. It takes one minute to complete a transfer regardless of destination. Transfers can be collected at any BLIZKO service point in the country of destination.
The BLIZKO system was developed and is owned by Sviaz-Bank OJSC. The BLIZKO system involves more than 160 banks in the Russian Federation and other CIS countries and operates over 5,500 customer service points.
ASB Belarusbank OJSC is the biggest multipurpose financial and lending institution in the Republic of Belarus that structurally comprises six territorial departments, 77 branches, 1,836 offices, and 60 banking services centers. ASB Belarusbank offers over 100 banking services and products to customers.
