OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2009. In the course of the International Forum “Clean Water 2009” State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’, the Russian Ministry of Regional Development, the Rostov region Administration, the Administration of Rostov-on-Don, OJSC Eurasian and LLC ABVK-Eko entered into a Memorandum on Cooperation in implementing the regional Clean-Don Project.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Memorandum was signed by Management Board Member-Vnesheconombank Deputy Chairman Anatoly Ballo, on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Regional Development – by Minister Victor Basargin, on behalf of the Rostov region Administration – by First Deputy Chairman Sergei Nazarov, on behalf of the Rostov-on-Don Administration – Mayor Mikhail Chernyshov, on behalf of OJSC Eurasian – by its General Director Sergei Yashechkin, on behalf of ABVK-Eko – by its General Director Andrei Sukhenko.

Under the Memorandum the Clean Don Project provides for the construction and reconstruction of the Rosto-on-Don water disposal system’s elements to connect new consumers to the central water disposal system in the city and to improve the level and quality of waste water treatment.

The Memorandum was signed to build on the agreement on cooperation concluded earlier between Vnesheconombank and OJSC Eurasian. The agreement was designed to arrange and monitor financing of PPP projects to reconstruct and modernize water supply and water disposal infrastructure. These projects are implemented by OJSC Eurasian in various Russian regions.
