OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2009. Summing up the results of regional prize named after M.V. Lomonosov, there are Sevmash specialists among winners.

Lomonosov prize was awarded to Sevmash design bureau specialists and their scientific work. The group of specialists was leaded by Sevmash Chief engineer A.V. Alsufiev, who is also the head of Severodvinsk engineering workers guild primary organization. V.A. Zhepetov, A.A. Sivkov, V.N.Nikitin, N.V. Shirokih, also the specialists of power construction research institute (Moscow) Y.B. Shpolyanskii, B.L. Istorik, I.N. Usachev are among the Lomonosov prize-winners. Construction of power modules for tidal power engineering objects was the theme of their project. It is known that in 2006 an experimental floating power unit was built for only one Russian tidal power station "Kislogubskaya".

Also Sevmash specialists took part in fourth city Lomonosov prize competition. Sevmash shipbuilders presented three projects, which were noticed by competitive commission. The winner was named today at a plenary meeting of scientific conference "Russian north territories innovation development: science, education and production". Sevmash group of specialists and their leader V.A. Nekrasov, who is the head of Sevmash vibroacoustic and vibromechanical trials department, became the winner. The theme of their report is "A unificated marine equipment test bench for vibronoise characteristics adequacy".
