OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2009. In the course of the complex tests the new gas turbine unit has worked during 72 hours under the nominal load – 16 MW.

During the process of the test the work of compressor and the gas turbine was completely timed and approved at different modes. After the check of work of the GTPP-16PA unit and the acknowledgement of the technical factors of the equipment the Russian Technical Control Department of the Permskiy edge signed an act about the successful realization of the complex tests of the gas turbine unit (GTU). There weren’t any remarks to the work of the main equipment and the management system. The complex test of the unit during the 72 hours – it is the obligatory completing stage of the testing of the power equipment before the entering it to the industrial usage.

The montage of the new GTU and all the accompanying objects of the infrastructure was ended at the CHPP-13 this spring. During the last months on the GTU were starting – adjust works, in the course of which at the new equipment was tested the operation of the all mechanisms, joins, energy transmission lines, gas turbine unit management nodes – near some hundreds equipment units.

The Permskaya CHPP-13 of the IES-Holding branch “The Generation of the Urals” is situated on the right - coast part of Perm in micro – region Gayva. The CHPP is providing a power supply for many industrial enterprises and social sphere objects of Perm, the site heat supply of the micro – region Gayva. Today the average electrical power of the CHPP is 18 MW, the heat power – 332, 2 Gkal/hour.

Due to the realization of the project “Garnet” the electrical power of the CHPP will increased from 18 to 34 MW. The entering to the usage GTU even with the salvaging of the heat will allow the increasing of the annual issue of the electrical energy more than in two times. The heat power of the entering enterprises is 18 Gkal/hour. The parameters of the unit are allowed it’s usage to the 8000 hours in a year and a provision of covering the base (summer) heat loads of the hot water supply with the maximum possible accompanying production of the electrical power.

It should be note that GTU mounted at the CHPP – 13 was also made in Perm, at the OJSC “Aviadvigatel”. Thereby the investment project not only makes higher the Permskiy edge energy potential, but promotes development of domestic energy machine building.

At present at the Permskaya CHPP – 13 is leading a preparation of the necessary documentation to the entering of the new equipment to the constant industrial usage.
