OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2009. Top managers of the company took part in "Entrepreneurs Meet Investors" German Equity Forum conference hosted by Deutsche Boerse and the KfW SME Bank on the 9th-11th of November in Frankfurt/Main.

The Executive Member of the Supervisory Board, Chief Financial Officer Vasyl’ Danylyak and Head of the Management Board Nazar Kupybida participated in the conference along with investment specialists, marketmakers from all over the world discussing the ways of economy rebound and new investment opportunities, especially in emerging markets. More than 5,000 particіpants deriving from the financial community, entrepreneurs, investors and analysts took part in 3-day event. The main attention was focused at emerging markets. According to experts, forum enhanced its place as Europe’s largest capital market event.

The company’s representatives were engaged into discussions as well as into forums dedicated to investor targeting, management of expectations during the crisis, capital raising for enterprises in volatile markets, liquidity and capital market support for small and mid caps in hard times.

The company’s representatives held several one-on-one meetings with representatives of asset management funds, private equity funds, capital advisors and wealth management funds. The main messages concerning company’s operational and financial activity brought to attention of the investors were:

– Concern Galnaftogaz generates positive cash flows in 2009, which allow to service its debt and eliminate unfavorable currency rate fluctuations;

– Concern Galnaftogaz fulfills all obligations to creditors and follows all appropriate financial ratios arranged in loan agreements;

– First tranche of equity contribution in amount of USD 20 mln from EBRD have been credited to the company’s account;

– The company is carefully monitoring capital markets in order to identify opportunities for the IPO in late 2010 – beginning 2011.

Concern Galnaftogaz management believes that recent markets recovery will continue and no further deterioration will be seen.
