OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2009. RBD that is developing new SME lending support areas has produced a new product for SMEs operating in the area of energy efficiency upgrading in the municipal housing economy. The presentation was made in the course of the round table “Funding of Public-Private Partnership Programs and Projects in the Area of Energy Efficiency” organized by the All-Russian NGO Delovaya Rossia and the PPP Center of Vnesheconombank, reported the press-centre of RBD.

One of the main principles of the product “Efficient MHE Complex” is providing SME support in the area of MHE by creation a stock of orders for procurement of goods and operations. According to Peter Tarasov, Director of Investment Operations of RBD the Bank’s lending support will be aimed primarily at the integrated development of systems of the municipal infrastructure and implementation of projects of energy efficiency upgrading.

P.Tarasov detailed on the criteria of selecting customers and the main features of the product including financing of introducing of the on-site systems of energy consumption records, introducing a billing system in MHE with the view to ensure an absolutely new quality of accounting and services, and energy saving in MHE in order to succeed in energy saving. The round table was attended by representatives from the sectoral federal, regional and municipal executive bodies, banks, small and middle-sized business.
