OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2009. The Ukraine has exported 10.4 mln tons of grain (+ 4.5%) from the beginning of marketing year (July, 2009 – June, 2010) as compared to the corresponding date of the previous year. Wheat export volumes amounted to 5.4 mln tons against 5.2 mln tons in the according period of the previous year barley export – to 3.37 mln tons against 4 mln tons, corn – 1.5 mln tons and 0.672 mln tons respectively, Transport business reported with reference to the Ministry of agrarian policy.

As per the information provided starting the beginning of the marketing year the Ukraine exported 1.24 mln tons of rape (+33.2%) against the corresponding period of 2008/2009.

The predicted volume of the Ukrainian grain export is estimated at the level of 20 mln tons, alongside with the record volumes of grain exported by the Ukraine to the external markets in the expiring marketing year (25.2 mln tons).
