OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2009. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the Board of Directors of MBRD accepted Mr. Kapitonov as the Chairman of the Board of the Bank, reported the press-centre of MBRD.

Giving comments on his appointment Mr. Kapitonov, the Chairman of the Board of MBRD, said: “My goal, in changed economic reality, is to improve efficiency of the Banking Group and to strengthen its position in the market due to state-of-the-art banking technologies. The main efforts shall be directed to development of corporate banking and retail as well”.

Biography
Mr. Oleg S. Kapitonov was born on August 6, 1970 in Moscow. He graduated from Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Mr. Kapitonov was one of the founders of Absolut Bank in 1993 and was also CEO and member of the Board of Directors of the Bank. In 2005 he launched K&S Capital Management specializing in the financial services needs of high-net-worth individuals, including hedge fund investments and holistic multi-family office services.
