OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2009. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will not carry out automatically the agreement on gas supplies, which was signed with Bulgartransgaz.

SOCAR Vice President Elshad Nasirov said that  it is written in the  agreement, that gas will be supplied from 2011.

"From the Western European countries negotiations are held on gas supplies with Portugal and Spain. We can deliver gas to Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia and other countries, depending on negotiations with transit states, and Georgia, Turkey, Russia (Ukraine accordingly) and other countries are among them,” E. Nasirov said.
