OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2009. Readiness of public transport of Nakhodka for winter was discussed at the meeting of the commission on road safety. Heads of local transport companies reported to the deputy Head of Nakhodka city district Sergey MATSKOVSKY about present state of affairs. 

Special attention is paid to operating conditions of public transport before winter. Thorough inspection of buses was carried out by employees of the Division of State Inspection of Road Safety in Nakhodka city district. It ended on November, 10. According to the results of this inspection, public transport of Nakhodka is fully ready for winter. All the buses are in good operating conditions today: engine coolant has been changed; inspection of heating systems has been carried out; winter tires have been put on. Drivers were instructed to observe road safety rules, because the safety of the passengers should be first and foremost.

Bus routes will be cancelled or stopped only in case of emergency and by agreement with local authorities and employees of the Division of State Inspection of Road Safety.
