OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2009. Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (APP, Republic of Tatarstan), part of United Metallurgical Company (OMK), has reported its operating results for October 2009 and the 10 months of 2009, reported the press-centre of OMK.

APP produced 13,468 tonnes of pipes of various grades in October 2009, which surpasses the October 2008 figure (12,015 tonnes) by 12%. From the beginning of 2009, APP produced 122,758 tonnes, including 41,111 tonnes of shaped pipes.

Almetyevsk Pipe Plant shipped 13,597 tonnes of APP-made pipes. From the beginning of 2009, APP shipped 128,916 tonnes of its pipes, which is 2.4% more than in the corresponding period in 2008 (125,919 tonnes).
