It is emphasized that the excises in Moldova are also complemented with accruing VAT, which will result in increasing the cost of one liter of gasoline by 0,4-0,45 leis (today the price of one liter of Ai-95 is 11,85 leis). In addition, the price can also be affected by the system of advance payment of excises and VAT.

The experts note that in December, many legal entities and individuals "invest" free money in fuel, buying tickets or cards at a fixed price. In the context of the upcoming price increase for gasoline, which may happen even this year, it may load the oil-importers with the additional currency, inflation and fiscal risks.
