OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2009. State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)”, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. and ZAO Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Eurasia) entered into a Framework Cooperation Agreement.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Mr. Peter Fradkov, Deputy Chairman, on behalf of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. – by Mr. Shoji Nakano, Executive Officer, General Manager of European Business Division, on behalf of ZAO Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Eurasia) – by Mr. Kazuyuki Futamura, President, ZAO Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Eurasia).

Under the Agreement the financial institutions are planning to promote cooperation in supporting exports, implementing investment projects in the Russian Federation that provide for the availability of Japanese exports.

The Agreement also provides for cooperation in trade and structured financing and in supporting the customers of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. interested in establishing enterprises and participating in projects implemented on the territory of the Russian Federation.
