OREANDA-NEWS. November 17, 2009. Director General of KAMAZ Inc. Sergey Kogoghin participated in the meeting of Russia’s and Italy’s Prime-Ministers Vladimir Putin and Silvio Berlusconi in Saint-Petersburg with the managers of the Russian companies realizing large projects with Italian partners.

The Russian businessmen told the leaders of the two countries about development prospects of their enterprises and their cooperation with Italian companies. Sergey Kogoghin informed about the agreement between KAMAZ and Case New Holland, a part of FIAT Group. In accordance with this agreement, the parties established two joint ventures at once – for production and sales of tractors, other agricultural and construction equipment. As it was reported before, it’s planned to launch assembly lines at the beginning of 2010, and output of the enterprise will form up to one thousand units of equipment a year.

Director General of KAMAZ Inc. noted that the Russian market needs such advanced technology products of home manufacture.
