OREANDA-NEWS. November 17, 2009. Orenburg Regional Administration has announced the results of an open tender for provision of obligatory medical insurance services to the region’s unemployed residents until the end of 2011, reported the press-centre of ROSNO. 

Following its victory in the tender, OJSC ROSNO-MS, throughout 2009 to 2011, will be providing insurance coverage to 331,101 residents of the Orenburg Region in Adamovsky, Dombarovsky, Kvarkensky, Novoorsky, Svetlinsky and Yasnensky districts, in restricted administrative area Komarovsky, and in the towns Novotroitsk and Orsk.

The insurer’s employees will control volumes and quality of the medical insurance coverage, explain the insurants’ rights in the obligatory medical insurance system, and track sickness rate among insurants in order to furnish the regional government with recommendations regarding prevention of the most widespread diseases.

In total, 5 insurers had participated in the tender.
