OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2009. The Russian Bank for Development has held a meeting on the questions of SME lending support through SME infrastructure support entities. The meeting was chaired by Mikhail Kopeikin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RBD, member of the Board, Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank, reported the press-centre of RBD.

The meeting was attended by Sergey Krjukov, Chairman of the Board of RBD, Dmitry Golovanov, First Deputy Chairman of RBD, Andrei Sharov, Director of SME Department of the Ministry of Economic Development, Mikhail Mamut, President of Russian Microfinance Centre, directors of regional funds, leasing and factoring companies.

The key questions of the agenda were credit products developed by RBD under the program of SME lending support through the SME infrastructure support entities. In particular the participants examined the RBD proposals for SME financing via factoring and leasing companies, microfinance organizations and regional funds.

After the discussion the decision was taken to make some adjustment to the RBD’s credit products aimed at optimization and efficiency upgrading of SMEs funding. The relevant information will be placed on the RBD Internet site.
