OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2009. Two turboprop strategic bombers Tu-95 MS, which were raised in the eastern part of Russia, successfully completed the tasks according to the plan of air patrol.

The route of flight took place over neutral waters in the Pacific Ocean. The crews of Tu-95 MS work out the skills of flights over pinpoint-free terrains and aerial refueling. The flight duration was about 15 hours.

On the route of flight crews of Tu-95 aircraft were accompanied by NATO F-15 aircraft.

Long-range aviation pilots regularly fly air patrols in the water area of neutral waters of the Arctic, Atlantic, Black Sea, Pacific from both base and operational airfields.

Flight crews during such flights are increasing their level of training. N During the flight various issues of aircrew cooperation of flight crews, elements of flight training are practiced.

All flights of the Air Force have been carried out in strict accordance with the international rules for use of airspace over neutral waters, without violating the borders of other States.
