OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2009. As of today, 130 tickets for round trips on board river boats of Volga Shipping in the season 2010 are already sold. This year, Volga Flot Tour Ltd – a subsidiary company of Volga Shipping – opened sale of cruise tickets in its offices on October 1st – one month earlier than usual.

‘Nizhny Novgorod – Rostov-on-Don’ is a new line to be introduced in 2010. Next season, Volga Flot Tour predicts strong demand for cabins on main deck and first class cabins on long cruise lines till Rostov, Astrakhan, and Saint Petersburg. Among shorter cruises, ‘Nizhny Novgorod – Moscow’ line enjoys greatest popularity.

In navigation season 2010, Volga Flot Tour will operate the following boats on its cruise routes: the “Georgy Zhukov”, the “Mikhail Frunze”, the “Semion Buddionny” deluxe four deck passenger boats and the “Kapitan Pushkariov” three deck passenger boat.

Joint Stock Volga Shipping Company – a biggest shipping company of Russia, celebrated 165th anniversary since foundation in 2008.
