OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2009. The specialized exhibition of the projects of individual housing for the rural residents and the construction materials is being held in Samarkand, reported the Official website gov.uz.

The event is a continuation of the exhibition in the capital and other regions of Uzbekistan, organized on the initiative of President Islam Karimov.

During 2009-2010, more than 740 houses are to be built in Samarkand region on the basis of type projects.

Currently, 20 houses are already being raised in each of the following villages: Ziyovuddin (Pakhtachi district), Kattaqishloq (Jambay district) and Galagut (Pastdargom district).

“A special attention is being paid to the natural and climatic conditions, as well as architectural traditions of the region,” Hayt Bagirov of the Samarkand regional architecture and construction department told.

The exhibition demonstrates projects of rural housing, objects of social and industrial infrastructure, construction materials and technologies.

The hokim (head of administration) of Samarkand region U.Barnoyev participated in the opening of the forum.
