OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2009. MEGABANK’s ICC marks the growth of utility payments made thru internet. As the deputy head of ICC Sergey Kanunninkov informed for the 10 months of this year 3 374 Kharkovites paid the utility services thru internet, reported the press-centre of MEGABANK.

 This is by 50% more than for the same period last year. In October 2009 twice as many clients paid the utility services thru the ICC site than in October 2008.

S.Kanunnikov said that the growth of payments is explained by expanding the list of available  payment instruments. From July 2009 one can pay the utility services with the help of systems Visa and MasterCard. The demand for such type of payment as WebMoney is also growing. 

According to the words of S.Kanunnikov many clients are accustomed to pay for utility services with the NSMEP card, and their number is on the rise. Altogether thru NSMEP card more than 2,5 thousand clients pay for utility services. Besides, there is increasing confidence of internet users to the system of payments, which MEGABANK,PJSC has elaborated and updates, underlined S.Kanunnikov.
 
Reference. ICC on payment of utility services has been implemented in 9 regions of Ukraine. More than 1 million 810 thousand households (12% of all payers of Ukraine)pay thru MEGABANK’s ICC. Some 60 services can be paid by a single receipt, including cable TV, telephone, etc.
