OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2009. SOCAR reports that 3.3 million tons of Azerbaijani oil was shipped from Turkish port Ceyhan in October.

“For Jan-Oct of the year export made up 30.7 million tons,” SOCAR said.

It was shipped 2.9 million tons from this port in March, a little less than 2.6 million tons in April, 3.5 million tons (this year’s best index) in May, 3 million tons in June, 3.476 million tons in July, 3.358 million tons in August, and 3.014 million tons in September.

From the BTC operation start-up in mid-2006 to 1st November 2009 export from Ceyhan totaled 99.05 million tons of Azeri oil.
