OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2009. Igor Artemyev, the Head of the FAS Russia within the frameworks of the visit of the FAS Russia delegation to the USA, made a presentation on the Round table held under the US-Russia Business Council (USRBC). Heads of the leading American companies, interested in investing to the Russian economy, officials from the US Government, including State Department, Treasury, Council on National Security took part in this Round table, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Igor Artemyev talked about the new provisions of the Russian competition legislation, about legislation on foreign investments to the strategic sectors of economy, about regulation of natural monopolies, retail networks, etc.

This presentation raised positive reaction from the participants of the Round table and served as a basis for further discussion. It should be noted that there is a strong interest by American companies to the FAS Russia activity, particularly due to its vast powers and exterritorial principle of application of the Russian competition legislation.
