OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2009. Moscow’s city authorities plan to have the long-drawn reconstruction of Tagansky Tunnel completed in Q1 2010.

“A contracting company foiled our plan. Now the Integrated Body for Urban Design Policy and Development of Moscow is involved in the work. It is scheduled to be done in Q1 2010,” Aleksandr Levchenko, head of the Department of Road and Bridge Engineering of Moscow, told journalists on November 5.

Tagansky Tunnel is the longest one throughout the Garden Ring Road of Moscow. It is located at Taganskaya Square where a number of roads meet. When its reconstruction is completed, it will ease traffic problems in this area.
