OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2009. The Iranian delegation at the head of Suleyman Jafarzadeh, the chairperson of the Parliamentary Commission for Social Affairs, visited the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan (SSPF).

The SSPF reports that Fund’s chair Salim Muslimov familiarized the guests with their activities, centralized management, computer-based system of individual registration.

Muslimov also told of active work on computerization of pension fund scheme to ensure transparency of this process.

The Iranian delegation head appraised high reforms done by Azerbaijan in retirement and social systems. He pointed out that by its great success for a short period Azerbaijan could become an example for experience of many countries in pension and insurance system.

The sides also debated prospects of bipartite co-operation.

Following the meeting the Iranian party invited the SSPF chair to visit their country.
