OREANDA-NEWS. November 10, 2009. The Ministry of Communications & Information Technologies informs that in the course of the session they covered the proposals for organization of rational use of radio frequency resources.

“According to the meeting minutes, the Commission approved allotment of new radio frequency to 18 companies and organizations, appointed technical surveys for radio frequency allotting for 9 companies and withdrew radio frequency from one organization for irrational use of resources,” the Commission says.

Besides, the Commission’s members considered it expedient to enforce the decision of the Electronic Communications Committee (ECC) from December 2006 with additions from 13 March 2009.

“Simultaneously in accord with the ECC’s decision the Commission permitted use of frequency GSM-1800 for board GSM systems installed in planes flying in air space of Azerbaijan,” the Commission says.
