OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2009. A visiting session of JSC Tatneft Board of Directors was held on 25 September in Nizhnekamsk, in the OJSC TANECO Office under the Chaimanship of R.N.Minnikhanov, the Prime Minister of RT. The main target of this meeting was familiarizing of the members of JSC Tatneft Board of Directors with the status of Petrochemical Complex of the Company. One of the major issues discussed at the meeting was the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex construction progress.
Kh. Bagmanov, the General Director of OJSC TANECO, reported on the issue, having shortly informed of the status of the first Start-up complex construction where the visitors had been toured prior the beginning of the visiting session. He emphasized that to date 7 General Contractors, 4 Main Contractors and 150 other subcontractors with total number of 6 800. manpower (80% of them – residents of Republic of Tatarstan) are engaged, nearly one thousand machines are in work. The performance of the construction works from the start of the Project implementation makes 23,8 billion rubles., including in 2009 году - 15,4 billion rub. General progress of works for Step 1А1 reached 57%. Construction works are completed for all external utility lines, except for steam- and power supply, the underground systems are ready for 75%. Over 50% of the required scope of the main pipe racks steel structures are installed. The detailed designing of Step 1А1 is performed by JSC VNIPIneft, by the leading Tatarstan design institutes and Fluor Corporation. Design-Estimate documentation has been issued for the construction scope of 35,3 billion rub.
“We are now at the very crucial moment of the project implementation, - recognized the Prime-Minister of the Republica, - we are entering a phase of completion of the first Start-up complex construction. Considered all, the work at TANECO site is well organized, we gathered skill to manage big projects, working together with Fluor Corporation. A large builders team is formatted capable to execute also other large-scale programs in the future”.
