OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2009. Peter Demchenkov, General Director at ALIDI group, was ranked among the 30 best top-managers of St. Petersburg. The list was published by “Delovoy Petersburg”, biggest business-daily in St.Petersburg.

Since 2004 year this list has been formed annually. Any executive offices managing company incorporated in Sant-Petersburg or in the region may become a nominee of the ranking. The top-manager, himself his colleagues, editorial staff of “Delovoy Petersburg”, professional associations or public organizations may apply for the nomination. “Delovoy Peterburg” ranked the top 30 chief executive officers for 2009 based on their ability to put their companies on the path to success, to make themselves visible and expand the company's value propositions, among other things.

This year the judges panel also took into consideration managerial decisions, made during last 3-4 years, which influenced financial and marketing policy of the company. Besides the information provided by the applicants the judges analyzed official statistics about companies made by Petrostat.

In 2009 the traditional structure of the list called Top-100 was changed. Final Top-100 list included: 30 top-managers of St. Petersburg and the region, 20 richest Company-owners, 10 events, that affected St.Petersburg business life, 20 major investment projects realized in St. Petersburg and 10 projects that were largely discussed in the business-community of St.Petersburg.

Besides Peter Demchenkov, General Director at ALIDI Group, the Top-30 list included executives of biggest national and international companies, among them - Anton Artemiev, President of OJSC "Baltika Breweries"; Patrick Longe, General Director of “O'KEY”; Igor Kostin, General Director of OJSC “Power Machines”; Dmitry Nikitin, General Director at "Eurosib Group"; Dmitry Olunin, Chairman of the Management Board "Bank VTB North-west" and Philip Wegh, General Director of OJSC "Confectionery factory named after N.К. Krupskaya", were nominated.
