Net profit of Vanino Commercial Seaport OJSC (Vanino port OJSC) witnessed 1.77-time increase (to RUR120.556 mln) under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) within 9 months, 2009 as compared to the corresponding period of 2008 as of stevedoring company’s accounting data.  The company’s profit remained almost the same and amounted to RUR998.944 mln in the reporting period as compared to the figures of 2008.

It is necessary to remind Vanino port OJSC cargo turnover decreased by 10.5% (4 mln 546.4 thousand tons) within nine-month period of 2009 against corresponding period figures of 2008.

Vanino Commercial Seaport OJSC is the largest stevedoring company of Khabarovsk region. It provides handling and forwarding services. Cargo is delivered via Vanino to the north-eastern regions of Russia, Japan, South Korea, China, Australia, USA and other countries of APR. In 2008 the company handled 6.621 million tons of cargo.
