“Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” Handled Two Rocket Vehicles
OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2009. Specialists of the ro-ro terminal on the territory of the First Stevedoring Company (part of the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”) successfully accomplished loading operation related to two rocket vehicles to be delivered to Guiana Space Center (French Guiana).
On the 5th of November rocket vehicles “Soyuz-ST” were reloaded from rail cars onto roll trailers and today will be delivered and loaded on the MN “Colibri” vessel using the ramp of berth 37 of the ro-ro terminal.
The third shipment lot for space base Kuru was handled by the terminals of the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” within the Intergovernmental Agreement on long-term cooperation between Russia and France “…related to the development, manufacturing and use of the rocket vehicles …”, in the presence of diplomatic delegations from both countries.
