OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2009. Several days ago, the Cargo Transportations Department of Volga Shipping reported that the traffic volumes on two separate cargo flows operated by Volga Shipping cargo carriers surpassed 1 million tons.

On the route ‘Port Buzan – Port Kavkaz’ the volume of sulfur delivered by vessels of Volga Shipping this navigation season reached 1 million tons on October 13th. 25 cargo carriers of Volga Shipping work on this line in navigation season 2009. Besides, on October 17th Volga Shipping hit the 1 million tons milestone on the cargo route conveying metal structures produced by Severstal JSC.

As of total, since March 2009 ships of Volga Shipping delivered on the inland waterways of Russia above 4 million tons of various cargoes.
