Cargo turnover of RGP of Aktau International Commercial Seaport (RGP AMMTP) (Kazakhstan) increased by 31.7% (to 11.5 million tons of liquid and dry cargoes) in January-October, 2009. In October, 2009 RGP AMMTP transhipped 1mln 330.8 thousand tons of dry and liquid cargoes, which is117.8% of the planned figures.

Aktau port is located on the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea and is the only seaport of the Republic of Kazakhstan involved in international freight of dry cargo, crude oil and oil products.
Aktau port cargo turnover amounted to over 10,201,000 of dry and liquid cargo Q I-III, 2009 which showed 32%-increase against the corresponding period 2008.
