OREANDA-NEWS. November 05, 2009. Representatives of the Azerfon company announced the start of rendering of services on the basis of 3G technologies in BakuTel 2009 exhibition today.

Press secretary of Azerfon on public relations Aziz Akhundov says that the company intends to carry out the presentation of 3G technologies all over the country in December, 2009.

“As early as December, the campaign to render services on the basis of 3G technologies will be launched.  New services will be rendered every quarter,” A. Akhundov said.

Azerfon LLC started its commercial activities on March 21, 2007. Nar Mobile network coverage reaches 80% of territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2009, Azerfon LLC  and Vodafone signed an agreement on non-stock partnership. Currently, over 1.500.000 subscribers use the Nar Mobile network.
