OREANDA-NEWS. November 05, 2009. Russian Agricultural Bank and the Government of Irkutsk Region signed Cooperation Agreement on Implementation of the Federal Program on Agribusiness Development 2008-2012, reported the press-centre of Russian Agricultural Bank.

In the framework of the Cooperation Agreement the Parties will ensure credit availability for the development of agribusiness enterprises, personal household plots, farms, for improvement of living standards in the rural areas.

RusAg and the Government of Irkutsk Region will cooperate to ensure sustainable development of the rural areas of the region and to create favorable conditions for agribusiness and rural population.

In the course of Agreement implementation the Bank will annually increase the amount of lending to the agribusiness of Irkutsk Region. RusAg will extend investment loans for the development of priority agribusiness subsectors and will provide the regional agricultural producers and rural population with a wide range of banking products and services.

Besides, the Cooperation Agreement provides for the development of land mortgage lending system in Irkutsk Region.
